Located on Main Street, South Portland, Maine, right off Interstate 95, the Best Western Merry Manor Inn is one of Portland Mains fine lodging facilities. Our guests are coming to Maine mostly during the summer season so we stay very busy! We are just minutes from a variety of local sights and attractions, from beaches to Portland Head Light, one of the countrys oldest lighthouses, to LL Bean and Portlands historic old port area. You can access the public bus system right in front of the hotel to go and visit any of these attractions!
We encourage groups of friends, or couples, traveling together to apply for our jobs! For students who have an excellent level of English, and a strong work ethic, there may be opportunity to work a 2nd job on site at our restaurant (Servers, Bussers, Dishwashers). We work hard but we have a lot of fun, too! We are very excited to welcome J-1 students to work for us this summer and are always so excited to meet new J-1 students each summer! We are working to find housing options for you that are close to the hotel. Upon arrival, students will be permitted to stay at the Best Western Merry Manor Inn for up to 3 days while they get settled in their housing! We also are going to provide a city bus pass for all of our students so that you can get to and from housing and into Portland on your days off to explore the city!
