Participants will work in various departments depending on the needs of the store including, but not limited to: Cashier/Bagger/Stock Clerk/Deli/Bakery/Dairy. Must be willing to accept any of these jobs & early, day or night shift schedules. Cashier: Cashiers provide fast, friendly, & accurate check out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems. Deli: Deli clerks will be slicing all types of meat & cheese at a very busy customer counter. While waiting on customers, excellent customer service skills are mandatory. You will also be required to make sandwiches, weigh out & package all types of salad. Bagger: May be required to handle all types of food. Will be placing items from conveyer belt into plastic or brown paper bags. Must have strong communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude. Stock Clerk: You might be handling all types of food including seafood, meat, dairy, etc. Assisting or advising guests on their purchases. Stocking shelves & inventory of items up to 40 lbs. Maintaining & cleaning all areas including stock room, coolers, freezers, shelves, floors, cash register/check-out area. Monitoring & cleaning parking lot as well as collecting shopping carts in the parking lot & bringing them to the storefront.
