Students will be assigned to work at either the Call Center or Front Desk. Participants will be asked to complete many tasks including answering phones at the switchboard, checking guests, accepting and correctly posting various forms of payment, making reservations for future guests, selling packages, and answering questions. Students will have to be very familiar with American currency, quickly gain knowledge of the local area in order to answer guest questions, and quickly learn new computer software. VERY STRONG ENGLISH and strong computer skills. Must be clearly understood on the telephone. Students will learn the hotel reservations system and all room types to assist guests with reservations. Students will learn to book guest packages that includes use of on-site amenities. Students will answer telephone calls to book reservations, make changes to reservations, and answer questions for potential guests.
