About company
We are a family-run company with 7 generations of hospitality and customer service experience. In addition to
running several national parks and state parks concessions, we also operate Ortega’s on the Plaza, Yippee Yi
Yo, and the Thunderbird Bar and Grill on The Plaza in Santa Fe, NM.
We find great pride in taking on under-performing concessions, turning them around, and bringing them up to
and beyond the expectations of the NPS and park visitors. Our success is in large part due to the fact that we
do not consider the National Parks just another business. We consider it a privilege to work as junior partners
with the NPS to keep the parks “America’s Best Idea.”

Mammoth Cave Lodge
Mammoth Cave Lodge is a national park concessioner that operates lodging, food and beverage and retail
operations in the Mammoth Cave National Park.
A number of cultural trips and activities will be planned that may include shopping and
sightseeing in nearby Nashville Tennessee, the famous landmark of country music! Several outdoor excursions
will be great options including canoeing, zip lining and kayaking in the surrounding area of Mammoth Cave
Park, tours of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green and well known Bourbon distilleries in the Kentucky
area. Of course, we will watch fireworks at Yogi Bear, which is the ultimate American tradition.
