This is a unique location where you will work with a local team of HAP employees in Healy, AK. Our facility is located 11 miles from entrance to Denali National Park on the George Parks Highway.
Hop on the park shuttle to take you deep into the national park with a chance to glimpse Mt. McKinley, North America’s highest peak at 20,320 feet. This s is a seasonal property with operations located approximately two hours south of Fairbanks and four hours north of Anchorage and is open from May to September.Employee Services is located approximately 12 miles from the entrance to magnificent Denali National Park in the historical and quaint coal mining community of Healy. Both locations are quiet in the winter and erupt into a hotspot of activity in the summer months with easy access for exploration of the local flora and fauna and a possible awe inspiring view of Mt. McKinley (weather permitting)!"

Fairbanks’ climate is classified as subarctic though it borders on a humid continental climate, with long, cold winters, and short, warm summers. In summer, temperatures typically range between 70 and 50 °F (21 and 10 °C). At the summer solstice, Fairbanks receives 21 hours and 49 minutes of direct sunlight; after sunset, twilight is bright enough to allow daytime activities. Another one of Fairbanks’ unusual occurrences is the prevalence of the aurora borealis, commonly called the northern lights, which are visible on average more than 200 days per year in the vicinity of Fairbanks.
