Welcome to the Dunes! We are a Coastal Family Restaurant on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Dunes Restaurant and R-Bar, is a Nags Head breakfast restaurant, dinner restaurant and full service bar all in one! We have been a favorite on the Outer Banks dining scene for the past 35 years. Every morning, we specialize in big Outer Banks breakfasts. The breakfast and fruit bar, which is served daily in season and on weekends the rest of the year, is loaded with fresh fruit, pastries, homemade biscuits as well as eggs, grits, bacon, creamed chipped beef and sausage gravy, just to name a few. No one leaves hungry. Each night, we serve the freshest Outer Banks seafood, including fresh fish, crabs, shrimp and oysters cooked just the way you like. Plus most nights, there are seasonal specials added to the menu!
Why The Dunes Restaurant?
Our area is full of history and sites to see. The beach is 500 meters from the back door of the restaurant. It is not uncommon for employees to get off work and all meet at the beach for some down time. We have a large mall across the street that has a host of stores for shopping and for a second job, as well as other restaurants where you could apply your skills you will be learning at the Dunes. There are lighthouses, a 300 meter pier, fishing, surfing and windsurfing! We look forward to you joining our team!
