About company
Blue Water Bakery has been in business 12 years in Grand Lake, Colorado. Grand Lake is mainly a summer destination with Rocky Mountain National Park at it's back door and Grand Lake at it's front door. We have a very busy breakfast and lunch business along with a bakery where we bake all our breads and pastries. We also have espresso drinks, natural slushies, iced teas and coffees. Our café is very busy from the moment we open at 7am until we close at 5pm. It's a busy but fun place to work, never a dull moment!!
Lake activities include boating, paddle boarding and kayaking and there are fantastic hikes all around us and in the National Park.
Because we interact with our customers there are many opportunities to improve English skills with staff and customers. There's a big 4th of July celebration with fireworks in town at night, which is held right over the Lake.
We try to do fun things together like rock climbing and a Rockies baseball game in Denver.
Why choose Grand Lake, Colorado for your summer in 2022?
In the summer, Grand Lake offers classic mountain activities like hiking and mountain biking. With the largest natural lake in Colorado, Grand Lake's summer list wouldn't be complete without a bit of boating, sailing, or fishing. If you plan your trip at the right time, you might just be able to attend one of the town's signature events like the 4th of July Extravaganza or Grand Lake Regatta Week.
Grand Lake is also known as the "Snowmobiling Capital of Colorado," so it's a great winter destination to satisfy your need for adrenaline or pick up a new skill. Snowmobiling isn't the only winter activity around here, though. Keep your eyes open for snowshoeing and nordic skiing trails at Grand Lake Nordic Center, as well. Or simply head out into Rocky Mountain National Park for some winter wildlife viewing in the spectacular, snow-covered wonderland.
Whether you stay for a day, a week, or a lifetime, Grand Lake awaits you.
