Our partners from CIEE will select 50 participants from the Work and Travel USA summer program to participate in a life-changing event.

Applications for the Young Civic Leadership Summit (YCLS) scholarship are now open. And here’s an incredible opportunity—all expenses covered and an experience that will enrich your time in the United States!

This year, YCLS will be held in an exciting new location. Young people from all over the world will gather from August 4-7 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to:

meet other young people motivated to make a difference - connect with participants who share your passion for contributing to their community

learn by doing - expand your cultural understanding by developing critical thinking, sharing experiences and ideas, and applying what you learn in hands-on workshops focused on creating an action plan

give back to a host community through BridgeUSA through a volunteer project while exploring one of America’s most popular tourist destinations

CIEE will award 50 scholarships, which include travel grants for transportation to and from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as well as covering the costs of lodging, meals, and activities during the Young Civic Leadership Summit.
